How to rent your items

You are able to list your items for rent on AirRobe. This works in the same way a sale would:
- Select the item you want to rent
- Select the condition of your garment
- Choose a rental price for your item - standard rental windows are 5 days
- Cleaning garments is your responsibility, so factor dry cleaning costs into your fee as relevant
- Add additional images if you want, or appropriate detail images if the item has signs of wear

A few things to consider when renting:
- While standard rental windows are 5 days, the lendee can message you to arrange a longer window for an additional fee
- We set a 3 day buffer between the next available renting period. This is to allow returns and gives you time to clean the item.
- Renting items can require a fast turnaround time for the renter, so act promptly if you want to successfully rent your garments
- Fair wear is expected and normal in rental items,

How to take good photos for resale

💡 Helpful hints on how to take the best photos for resale

Number of images:
- Include as many pictures as possible (up to 8)
- We recommend a minimum of 3 images but ideally 5 or more
- Show the product from different angles (front, back, side and a close up)
- Take images of tags for buyer confidence
- Show close up details that you may not see in other images ie zipper detail straps, tags

Imperfections and Signs of Wear
Always take close ups of imperfections or signs of wear to avoid negotiation, returns or a disappointing selling experience
- Signs of wear are a given in the resale space but transparency is key

Quality of lighting:
- Always take pictures in natural lighting where possible
- Avoid glare or over saturated light as this changes the colour saturation and can lead to a disappointing buying experience

Luxury Brands and Receipts:
- Luxury items require authentication so be sure to take photos of tags and stitching
- Include receipts, packaging and authentication paperwork
